Some appointments booked through BeautyLink involve services that are medical, cosmetic-medical, or aesthetic in nature, including but not limited to Botox and other neuromodulators, dermal fillers, injectables, microneedling, chemical peels, laser treatments, and similar procedures (“Medical/Aesthetic Services”). If your appointment has been marked as requiring this disclosure, you must read and accept it before booking.

1. BeautyLink Is a Booking Platform Only

BeautyLink is a technology platform that connects clients with independent beauty and aesthetic professionals. BeautyLink does not provide medical, cosmetic, or aesthetic services, does not employ the providers listed on the platform, and does not supervise, direct, or control how any service is performed. BeautyLink does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Your Responsibility to Verify the Provider

It is your sole responsibility, before booking and before receiving any Medical/Aesthetic Service, to independently verify that the provider is appropriately licensed, qualified, insured, and permitted by law to perform the specific service you are booking. This includes verifying:

The provider's professional license(s) and current standing
Any required medical supervision, oversight, or prescriber involvement
The provider's training, experience, and qualifications for the specific procedure
That the products and equipment used are lawful, genuine, and appropriate
Any applicable state or local legal requirements for the procedure

BeautyLink does not independently verify, and makes no representation or warranty regarding, any provider's licensure, credentials, qualifications, insurance, or ability to safely perform any Medical/Aesthetic Service.

3. Assumption of Risk

Medical/Aesthetic Services carry inherent risks, which may include but are not limited to pain, bruising, swelling, infection, allergic reaction, scarring, asymmetry, dissatisfaction with results, vascular complications, and, in rare cases, serious or permanent injury. By booking, you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily assume them.

You are responsible for disclosing your relevant medical history, allergies, medications, and conditions to the provider, and for following any pre-care and after-care instructions. You should consult a qualified medical professional before undergoing any Medical/Aesthetic Service.

4. Informed Consent Is Between You and the Provider

Any informed consent, medical intake, or treatment agreement for a Medical/Aesthetic Service is strictly between you and the provider. BeautyLink is not a party to that relationship and does not obtain, hold, or evaluate medical consent on the provider's behalf.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeautyLink and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates are not responsible or liable for the performance, quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any Medical/Aesthetic Service booked through the platform, or for any injury, harm, loss, or damage arising from it. Responsibility for the service rests solely with the provider performing it and, where applicable, their supervising medical professional.

6. Acknowledgment

By accepting this disclosure at checkout, you confirm that you have read and understood it, that you are responsible for verifying the provider's license and ability to perform the service, and that you agree BeautyLink is not responsible for the treatment or its outcome. This disclosure supplements, and does not replace, the BeautyLink Terms of Service and Booking Agreement.
